A man has died in a skydiving accident in Jurien Bay.
The 30-year-old was with friends competing in a skydiving competition on Sunday afternoon.
Between 1pm and 2.30pm the man jumped from a plane but his parachute failed to deploy correctly and he fell to the ground.
The man received critical injuries and sadly died at the scene.
An investigation will be undertaken by CASA (Civil Aviation Safety Authority) and the Australian Parachute Federation.
WA Police will prepare a report for the Coroner.
