A man allegedly wielding a hammer at Fremantle Police Station has been tasered by officers.
The man entered the station about 8am on Saturday and started damaging the front counter with the hammer.
He then became aggressive towards officers before he was tasered and arrested.
The 53-year-old man has been taken to hospital for further assessment.
The customer service area at Fremantle Police Station is temporarily closed to the public.
Any person needing to attend the police station in person should attend the Cockburn Police Station instead.
