Mandurah Detectives have charged a man following their investigation into a number of incidents in the Mandurah area over the last week.
A 38-year-old Mandurah man has been charged after he allegedly went on a crime spree around the city during Saturday night and early Sunday morning.
Police said between 5pm Saturday night and just after 7am Sunday a Toyota Hilux was stolen from the Mandurah Forum carpark.
Just after 1am two CCTV cameras were stolen from the same shopping centre carpark.
On Monday this week around 9pm Police believe the man who stole the Hilux attended a house after responding to an online advertisement selling a Subaru Impreza.
The man swapped the Toyota Hilux for the victim's Subaru Impreza and left the property before the seller discovered the Hilux they'd been left was a stolen vehicle.
On Tuesday Mandurah Detectives executed a Misuse of Drugs search warrant at house on Cox Street where it is further alleged that numerous items of stolen property were located.
The 38-year-old has been charged with steal motor vehicle, two counts of stealing, fraud and receiving.
He's due to appear in Mandurah Magistrates Court later this month.
