A power outage in a Meadow Springs street has led police to a cannabis grow house.
Police searched the four-bedroom house on Oakmont Avenue on Thursday and seized 100 cannabis plants
Nine News reports police also seized hydroponic equipment from the property, set up in almost every room of the house.
Police were tipped off after 22 homes on the street lost power on Wednesday morning.
One resident has told Nine News they had power on but no lights so they were showering in the dark.
Neighbours said the drug bust was not surprising as the the blinds were always closed.
It's not clear if the owners of the house had anything to do with the seizure.
Police raided another home in Singleton on Thursday in relation to the drug bust.
No charges have been laid at this stage.
