Police are urgently appealing for a member of the public to come forward after they left a tip with Crime Stoppers this week about the 1997 abduction and murder of Gerard Ross in Rockingham.
The person, whose identity remains unknown, submitted information online just before 6pm on Monday, November 25.
Cold Case Investigators are desperate to get in contact with them to clarify some of that information.
Gerard, 11, disappeared while on a family holiday in Rockingham 27 years ago.
His body was found two weeks later in the Karnup pine plantation.
There's a $1 million reward for any information leading to the arrest and conviction of the school boy's killer.
