The food company has recalled its chicken sweet chilli tenders due to a safety concern.
Ingham's has recalled its 400g packages of Chicken Sweet Chilli Tenders that contain the use-by dates 28/02/2019 and 01/03/2019.
The recall is only relevant for packages sold at Coles, Woolworth, IGA and SPAR stores throughout the country.
The product has been recalled because some have been found to contain pieces of hard plastic and are not suitable for consumption.
Ingham's said customer who purchased the product can return it to the place of purchase for a full refund.
Ingham’s has notified all supermarkets which have been supplied with the product, the relevant state-based food authorities and Food Standards Australia New Zealand.
The company issued a public statement apologising for the incident.
