A Rockingham man has been charged with drug driving following investigations into a fatal crash earlier this year.
Major Crash Investigators have charged the man as a result of their investigation into the crash that occurred on January 29 in Lesley on Sunday.
It is alleged the man was driving a Land Rover Discovery that crashed with a Nissan Navara approximately two kilometres east of Kinsella Road.
Two passengers in the Nissan Navara, a 68 year old man and a 67 year old woman both, of Eighty Mile Beach died as a result of injuries received in the crash.
The 49 year old man from Rockingham has been charged with two counts of dangerous driving occasioning death while impaired by drugs and one count of dangerous driving occasioning grievous bodily harm while impaired by drugs.
He is due to appear before the Armadale Magistrates Court on July 25.
