65-year-old Ian Collett left his home on Saturday afternoon and was last seen in Byford.
The search will today continue for a missing man, who left his Canning Vale home more than 36 hours.
Ian Collett left his Templetonia Retreat home just after midday on Saturday to go for a walk.
Mr Collett is living with dementia.
His wife Deborah said her husband would usually go for several walks a day.
“I assumed he's gone for a walk, got disoriented,” she said.
The grandfather was last seen around 4.30pm on Sunday walking along Thomas Road in Byford.
A police search will resume for Mr Collett today, Police are asking residents in the Byford and Oakford areas to check their properties and sheds as Mr Collett could be seeking shelter.
Anyone who sees the 65-year-old is urged to call Police on 131 444.
