A Shoalwater man has been charged over an alleged hoon incident in Oakford.
The 22-year-old was allegedly behind the wheel of a Holden Statesman around 2pm on Sunday, November 10 when he did a burnout at the Thomas Road crash site where his friend Jady Turner was killed just the day before.
"The plume of smoke caused other motorists to halt their vehicles, and at the time of the incident numerous bystanders were in the vicinity," a WA Police spokesperson said.

Police say an 11-month-old baby, a teenager boy and a woman in her 20s were also in the Holden at the time.
On Monday, police intercepted the vehicle in Shoalwater and arrested the man.
He was charged with reckless driving and two counts of no authority to drive.
The accused is due to face the Rockingham Magistrates Court on November 22.
“People recklessly endangering the lives of innocent road users, while also putting their own life at risk is something we just won’t tolerate," Commander of Road Policing Command Mike Bell said.
“This man allegedly committed an act of reckless driving a day after a fatal crash at that location involving his friend, and at a time when he had passengers, including an 11-month-old child in the car.
"This is beyond disappointing, this is completely idiotic."
