Mandurah Detectives are investigating a series of incidents across the southern suburbs which are believed to be linked.
About 1am on Tuesday, March 11, an unknown person or persons stole a silver Ford Mustang from a car dealership on Leach Highway in Myaree.
A few days later, on March 19, the same Mustang was used in a home burglary on Sida Street in Wandi.
Police say an unknown number of offenders forced their way into the property and stole several items.
On March 21, police spotted the stolen Mustang which was speeding on Gilmore Avenue in Kwinana.
"Officers activated emergency lights and sirens, but the driver failed to stop the vehicle and an evade ensued," a WA Police spokesperson said.
"Shortly after, the silver Ford Mustang was located abandoned on Nottingham Parkway in Orelia."
Investigators urge anyone with any information relating to the identity of the person or people involved to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or report online via www.crimestopperswa.com.au.
