A surfer has been attacked by a shark off Dawesville.
It is believed the man, aged in his 20s, was surfing at Pyramids Beach when he was bitten on the leg around 8.50am on Sunday.
St John Ambulance paramedics and surf life savers assisted at the scene before the injured surfer was airlifted to Royal Perth Hospital.
According to police, his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
Pyramids Beach has been closed until further notice.
Water Police are conducting sea patrols of the area and Fisheries officers are on site monitoring the situation.
