A young driver is recovering in hospital after a serious crash in Port Kennedy.
Police say the 17-year-old boy was driving a Toyota Hilux along Warnbro Sound Avenue near the intersection of Grand Ocean Boulevard just before 11pm on Thursday when it was hit by a Hyundai hatchback.
The force of the crash caused the Toyota to roll.
The young driver was taken to Fiona Stanley Hospital by ambulance.
His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
