Mandurah Police have caught up with two children accused of ripping up a Halls Head sporting oval on a dirt bike.
The 14 and 13-year-old allegedly rode an unregistered, off-road dirt bike on Peelwood Reserve about 9.30am on August 11, causing significant damage to the turf.
The pair were then spotted later that day allegedly riding the dirt bike.
The motorcycle was seized by police.
A 14-year-old boy from Halls Head has been charged with two counts of criminal damage or destruction of property, driving, using or permitting an unregistered off-road vehicle to be driven or used and no authority to drive.

The pair are due to appear in Mandurah Children’s Court at a later date.
It comes after Mandurah residents spoke out in late June about their concerns over teenage hoons on motorbikes and scooters tearing up the local oval.
The youths have been captured multiple times on video deliberately ripping up the grass which is used by a number of local sporting clubs.
