Perth Detectives with the assistance of Albany Detectives have charged an 86 year old man as a result of an investigation into allegations of historical child sexual abuse.
It is alleged between 1974 and 1981, the man sexually assaulted a girl known to him. She was seven years old at the time of the first incident.
The man who is from the Great Southern Region has been charged with:
· Three counts of Unlawful Carnal Knowledge of a Child under 13 years of age.
He is due to appear in the Albany Magistrates Court today, Thursday, 15 March 2018.
