A 14-year-old boy has died after crashing his motorbike in a motocross event near Esperance.
About 9.35am on Sunday, police were notified of the crash at the Esperance Motorcycle Club event in Myrup.
"Information received was that a rider taking part in the event had crashed his motorcycle while riding on the track and was seriously injured," a WA Police spokesperson said.
St John Ambulance personnel also responded to the incident.
Tragically, the rider, a 14-year-old boy, could not be revived and died at the scene.
A report will be prepared for the Coroner.
