Four men have been charged over an alleged brutal home invasion in Warnbro that saw two other men bashed and stabbed.
Officers were called to the property on Currie Street about 2.25am on Monday, August 24, following alleged reports that four people with their faces covered and armed with weapons had forced their way into the home.
When police arrived, they found a man in his 40s with stab wounds to his chest and abdomen.
He was rushed to Royal Perth Hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
A second man, aged in his 50s, was also found with a stab wound to his lower back.
He was taken to Rockingham Hospital for treatment of serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
Police have linked the alleged home invasion to a second disturbance at the same home about 11pm on August 22 where several people allegedly tried to gain access to the property causing significant damage.
"Detectives established that the two incidents were linked and targeted in nature and subsequently commenced an operation in response," a WA Police spokesperson said.
"Police believe the incidents may be connected to organised criminal networks operating within the illicit tobacco market."
On Tuesday, August 25, detectives raided addresses in Inglewood, Canning Vale, Kelmscott, Perth and Highgate where they arrested the four men.
A 26-year-old Inglewood man and a 23-year-old Kelmscott man have both been charged with attempted murder, two counts of aggravated home burglary with intent and unlawful act or omission with intent to harm.
A 25-year-old man from Highgate has been charged with aggravated home burglary with intent, no authority to drive, giving false personal details to police, possessing a prohibited drug and breach of bail.
A 21-year-old man from Ellenbrook has been charged with aggravated home burglary with intent.
All four men appeared before the Rockingham Magistrates Court today and are next due to appear before the courts in September 2026.
