A 16-year-old boy has died after cutting his leg on the roof of a shopping centre in Perth's south.
It is understood the teenager climbed onto the roof of the South Lake Shopping Centre on Berrigan Drive around 5.30am on Sunday and slashed his thigh on a broken window.
Two of his friends tried to help him and called emergency services.
The boy was then rushed to Fiona Stanley Hospital but died a short time later.
A report will be prepared for the coroner.
