The annual Christmas on the Murray event returns on Thursday, December 4.
The free community event offers hours of family fun and entertainment and runs from 5:00pm to 8:00pm at the Murray River Foreshore.
Shire President Douglas McLarty said Christmas on the Murray is one of the Shire’s most joyful traditions.
“It’s the perfect way to kick off the festive season and come together with our community,” President McLarty said.
“Enjoy live Christmas carols from the Coastal Band, talented local performers and the Godlemans, plus a magical Christmas stage show for the kids.
“There will also be free kids’ activities including Christmas crafts, a petting zoo and face painting. Bring a picnic rug, settle in for a lovely and enjoyable evening by our beautiful Murray River."

Christmas on the Murray is supported by the Shire of Murray, Lotterywest, Alcoa and South32 Worsley Alumina.
