A critically injured whale has been spotted off the Mandurah coast.
The humpback was sighted just after 6am on Monday near Silver Sands.
A Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions spokesperson has confirmed the whale is entangled and it appears to be critically injured.
DBCA officers are currently assessing the situation.
