84-year-old Emilio Lombardi has died in hospital overnight after he was allegedly attacked outside of his East Cannington home on August 16.
Mr Lombardi went to investigate a disturbance at the front of his house on Henry Street around 7pm when he was allegedly assaulted.

Cannington Detectives have since charged a 28-year-old Seville Grove man over the alleged attack.
Homicide Squad have taken over the case and the current charges may be upgraded.
