 
                                    Major Crash Investigators are investigating a fatal traffic crash which claimed the life of a 93-year-old woman.
Authorities said a two car crash in Kewdale on Wednesday is being investigated after claiming the life of a female passenger.
Around 10.49am a blue Mazda 3B sedan collided with a silver Toyota Camry at the intersection of Sydenham Street and Kooyong Road. The Camry then continued into a tree.
Prior to the crash the Mazda was travelling in a south westerly direction on Sydenham Street, while the Toyota Camry travelling in a north westerly direction along Kooyong Road.
The 93-year-old female passenger of the silver Camry was taken to hospital and later died of her injuries.
Major Crash Investigators are seeking witnesses who may have seen the Toyota Camry or Mazda 3B driving in the area prior to the crash, or have dash camera footage.
