The man has critical injuries after a crash overnight.
The 55 year old from Furnissdale has been taken to Royal Perth Hospital with serious injuries.
Just before 10 last night the man was driving his Toyota Hilux Ute on Tonkin Highway onto Thomas Road.
From here the man lost control of the vehicle and, veered off the road and slammed into a power pole before stopping in a nearby paddock.
The man was airlifted to Royal Perth Hospital where he remains now.
Police are investigating how the man lost control of the vehicle, and want anyone who saw the accident to get in contact.
