Major Crash officers are investigating a fatal crash in Wannamal yesterday which claimed the life of two people.
Around 3.40pm on 14 March 2018, a 20 year old male was travelling south in a Toyota Hilux along the Great Northern Highway.
Around three kilometres south of New Norcia, he was involved in a head on collision with a Toyota Corolla travelling north.
The Corolla caught fire and its two occupants died at the scene of the crash.
The 20 year old man received minor injuries and was taken to Joondalup Health Campus.
The two occupants of the Toyota Corolla, believed to be a man and a woman, are yet to be identified.
