The Bureau of Meteorology has released its official summer outlook, predicting a hotter than average summer for Western Australia.
They predict a high likelihood of warmer than average days and night over the period.
Bureau manager of long-range forecasting Dr Andrew Watkins said it has been one of WA's warmest and driest springs on record, with rainfall also well below average for most of the State.
"Spring has been exceptionally warm and very dry for large parts of WA," he said.
"Many parts of WA set spring records for maximum temperatures in particular.
"There's fairly high odds of having warmer than normal days and nights [over summer]."
