An investigation is underway into the death of a police officer at a WA Police facility in Perth.
WA Police confirmed the officer died on Monday morning and his death is being treated as non-suspicious.
It is understood he took his own life.
"Police Commissioner Col Blanch has extended his condolences to the family of the officer, his colleagues and all who knew him," a WA Police spokeswoman said.
"Information regarding this officer’s death has been shared with his colleagues, and health and welfare support has been offered to all police officers and staff who may be impacted by this tragedy."
