Residents with a passion for the community are being encouraged to nominate for the upcoming City of Mandurah Local Government Elections.
The Elections will be held on Saturday, October 18, 2025 to fill the role of Mayor, along with vacancies in the Coastal, North, East and Town Wards.
Elected members will have the chance to represent their community, contribute to meaningful change, and influence decisions that matter for Mandurah.
The City is hosting a Candidate Information Session on Wednesday, August 13 at 6pm to help people understand what is involved in becoming an Elected Member, and how to get started.
During the session, information will be delivered about the role and responsibilities of an Elected Member, the nomination and election process, plus hear from experienced representatives.
Those unable to make this session are welcome to join the Online Candidate Information Briefing Webinar on Monday, August 18 at 6pm, hosted by WALGA, the Department of Local Government, Industry Regulation and Safety (LGIRS) and the WA Electoral Commission.
Nominations to stand for the October elections as an Elected Member are open from August 28 to September 4, closing at 4pm.
