A man who allegedly bashed an 84-year-old grandfather outside of his East Cannington home has had his charge upgraded to murder.
Emiliano Lombardi passed away in hospital two weeks after he was allegedly attacked by Quade Jones, 28, on August 16.
Mr Lombardi went outside to investigate a noise before he was allegedly attacked with a broken mirror.

Mr Jones was arrested four days later and charged with two counts of grievous bodily harm, indecent assault, assault and robbery.
He will now face the Perth Magistrates Court on Wednesday on the upgraded charge of murder.
