A man has been arrested after allegedly throwing an axe through the windscreen of a police car which was parked out the front of the Fremantle Police Station.
The 31-year-old allegedly attended the station around 12.10am on Saturday before putting the axe through the windscreen.
The man of no fixed address has been charged with failing to obey an order given by an officer, being armed in or near a place of public entertainment and criminal damage.
He appeared in the Perth Magistrates Court over the weekend.
