A 37-year-old man has been charged after allegedly slashing another man's neck with a piece of glass in Madora Bay.
Danny James Love allegedly exited a vehicle on Britawast Road about 12.10am on January 18 and approached the victim who was walking.
He then allegedly slashed him in the neck with the glass, leaving him with a serious laceration that required emergency surgery.
The pair are not known to each other.
The victim, aged in his 30s, has since been discharged from hospital.
On Tuesday, March 10, police arrested Love at his home on Pallas Way in San Remo.
He was charged with one count of unlawful act or omission with intent to harm and is next due to appear in the Perth Magistrates Court on Tuesday, April 21.
