A 31-year-old man has been charged over an alleged road rage attack on an elderly man in Mandurah.
Police say the 82-year-old victim was driving southbound on Anstruther Road around 1.30pm on April 25 when he was involved in a minor collision.
The accused then got out of his car and walked towards the victim's car before allegedly striking him in the face and fleeing the scene.
The elderly man was taken to Peel Health Campus by ambulance with serious facial injuries.
About 9.20pm that night, police arrested the accused at a home in Silver Sands.
He has since been charged with aggravated grievous bodily harm and will appear in court at a later date.
