A 67-year-old man has been charged after allegedly stabbing a woman in Bertram.
Police say a fight broke out between the pair at a home on Parkfield Boulevard around 8.20pm on Sunday.
The woman, aged in her 30s, was allegedly stabbed in the neck during the altercation.
She then sought help from staff at a nearby restaurant before being taken by ambulance to Fiona Stanley Hospital.
A 67-year-old man from Bertram has been charged with attempting to unlawfully kill.
He is due to appear in the Rockingham Magistrates Court today.
