Mandurah Detectives are investigating a serious crash that occurred in Coodanup, on Monday, 25 August 2025.
At about 9.30pm, a 20-year-old man was walking on Steerforth Drive, when he was struck by a vehicle, believed to be a white Hyundai Getz.
The 20-year-old victim sustain serious to life threatening injuries, and was taken to Peel Health Campus, and transferred to Royal Perth Hospital.
The driver of the vehicle did not stop at the scene or render assistance to the victim.
A 37-year-old man has been taken into custody and is assisting police with their inquiries.
Police have also seized a white Hyundai Getz.
