Police have charged the man for assaulting a six week old baby boy in Narrogin.
Police said the child was taken to Narrogin Regional Hospital on 9 October 2017 with injuries he had received.
He was transferred to Princess Margaret Hospital, but has since been released.
The 25-year-old man is known to the child.
Police have charged him with Aggravated Grievous Bodily Harm.
He'll appear before the Narrogin Magistrates Court next month.
