MECCA Maxima set to open doors at Mandurah Forum

The beauty giant has announced it will be opening a store as part of the Mandurah Forum redevelopment project and it will be one of the company's biggest stores to date.

Mandurah Forum has confirmed Australian beauty giant Mecca Maxima will soon open its doors in the final stage of Mandurah Forum’s $350 million redevelopment.

Widely known across the nation for stocking sought-after global brands and up-and-coming indie brands, Mecca Maxima has been the beauty lover’s go-to since it first launched in 2010.

For those lucky shoppers who make it to the new store early on opening day, Mecca have revealed a number of their famous showbags will be up for grabs, as well as the chance to select a lucky envelope from the Beauty Bank which will have a total prize pool worth $75,000.

Centre Manager, Jacqueline McKenzie said she was thrilled to welcome the brand to the centre, and that she was looking forward to seeing the response from the region’s beauty enthusiasts.

“Many of our shoppers have asked us on Facebook if Mecca is coming to the transformed centre, and I am very pleased to now announce that they will be here for the grand opening soon,” Ms McKenzie said.

“I believe this iconic brand will greatly complement our current range of hair and beauty retailers, and I can’t wait to see shopper’s reaction to the new store – I think they will be blown away."

MECCA Brands Head of Retail Maria Tsaousis said she was enthusiastic about the new Mecca Maxima, which will be one of the brands’ larger stores.

“We are so excited to finally be able to bring the enormous Mecca Maxima line-up of the world’s most-wanted and exclusive beauty brands, including Too Faced, Urban Decay, NARS, Smashbox, frank body, Mario Badescu & Drunk Elephant to Mandurah Forum”  Ms Tsaousis said. 

“At 350sqm, the new Mecca Maxima at Mandurah Forum really is a beauty playground that we hope local Beauty Junkies love.”

The new store will be approximately will be located in the David Jones mall.

The store will remain home to the full range of cult brands including NARS, Tarte, Too Faced, Urban Decay, Mario Badescu, Ellie Faas and Hourglass.

Beauty fans can also expect a host of new lines and products alongside their current favourites.

In the lead up to their 2018 unveiling, Mandurah Forum will continue to announce new retailers that will open in the revitalised centre.
