A 26-year-old man is in a stable condition in hospital after falling into a trench at a Pinjarra construction site.
The plumber was working in the Pinjarra Industrial Estate on Munday Avenue when he fell off a ladder into a six-metre hole around 1.30pm on Monday.
A DFES Vertical Extraction team was called in to help winch the man out of the trench.
He was airlifted to Royal Perth Hospital with suspected spinal injuries.
WorkSafe are now investigating.
