Police are urgently seeking the whereabouts of Matthew John Moss, a man they said is extremely dangerous.

It's believed the 40-year-old is driving a silver Hummer four wheel drive, registration 1GGD913, and travelling in the South West or Goldfields area.

Mr Moss is described to have a solid build, brown hair and green eyes.

Police said Mr Moss is considered extremely dangerous and should not be approached.

Images of the man and a similar model to his vehicle have been released.

Police ask anyone who sees the man to contact them immediately on 131 444 or 000.
