Police are questioning a man after the attempted sexual assault of an elderly woman in Greenfields.
The incident happened at the woman’s home about 2.10am on Sunday.
Police say a man gained entry into the house and grabbed the woman, who was home alone, and attempted to sexually assault her before leaving.
As a result of the assault, the woman, aged in her 80s, received bruising and abrasions to her face and swelling to her hand.
