A police investigation has been launched following the discovery of the remains of an 11-month-old infant on the grounds of a private school in Perth overnight.
Authorities were called to Kingsway Christian College in Darch just before 6pm, and were reportedly seen looking through buildings following the discovery.
“At this stage we are able to advise that a person is assisting police with their inquiries into this matter,” police said in a statement.
The West Australian reported the police have not yet determined if the baby’s death is suspicious.
It's understood further information will be provided on today.
