A man has been rushed to hospital after being stabbed in the chest overnight.
The 41-year-old man went to a hotel on Bennett Street in East Perth around 9pm on Friday and asked an employee for help after being stabbed.
It is believed he walked from nearby Wellington Square.
He was conveyed to Royal Perth Hospital where he remains in a stable condition.
A 49-year-old woman is currently in custody assisting with inquiries.
