Police are investigating the death of a woman south of Perth.
Officers were called to a home on Guerin Avenue in Piara Waters just before 6pm on Monday to find a 75-year-old woman with critical injuries.
She died a short time later at the scene.
An 87-year-old man who is known to the woman has been taken into custody.
