A 26-year-old Harvey man has died after his car crashed in the state's south.
Major Crash Detectives are investigating a crash that occurred yesterday afternoon in Brunswick. 
Around 4:30pm a red 2007 model Ford Falcon sedan was travelling west along Clifton Road when approximately 1.5kms from Wellesley Road, the vehicle left the road and collided with a tree.
The 26-year-old male driver from Harvey was the only person in the car at the time of the crash.
He received life threatening injuries and died at the scene.
