A driver has been taken to hospital after his truck carrying fruit rolled on the Kwinana Freeway in Bertram.
It happened just before 11pm on Tuesday near the Mortimer Road turnoff.
The driver suffered serious injuries and was conveyed by ambulance to Royal Perth Hospital.
Thousands of apples have been left scattered across the scene.
A cleanup operation is now underway.
WA Police are investigating what caused the crash.
