Three people who are facing murder charges over the death of Cassius Turvey have now been accused of kidnapping and assaulting another 15-year-old boy just four days before Cassius was allegedly attacked.
Police will allege the trio and a fourth man was involved in the attack.
The boy was allegedly chased down in Swan View around 4.40pm on October 9, 2023
He was then allegedly punched, kicked and stabbed before being put into a car and taken to a house where he was detained for a period of time.
The 15-year-old was then allegedly released by the group.
On Tuesday, January 31, an 18-year-old Bellevue man was charged with detaining another with intent to compel the doing of an act and unlawful wounding with circumstances of aggravation.
He was refused bail and is due to appear in the Midland Magistrates Court today.
Two men aged 21 and 24 have been charged with the same offences, while a 20-year-old woman faces one charge of detaining another with intent to compel the doing of an act.
The three have also been charged with the murder of 15-year-old Cassius Turvey.
Cassius was allegedly chased down and attacked on Patterson Drive in Middle Swan on October 13.
He died in hospital ten days later.
