A WA Police officer will front court today after being charged with reckless driving in Baldivis.
The 31-year-old senior constable allegedly drove at 171km/h in a 100km/h zone without being properly authorised to do so while attempting to stop a motorcycle on June 16.
The officer was on duty at the time and driving a marked police vehicle.
He has been placed on restricted duties until the matter is finalised.
