A truck driver has spent the night in hospital following a serious crash in Dudley Park.
Police say the truck slammed into a tree on Mandurah Road near Leslie Street around 3.40pm on Thursday.
The impact caused the tree to fall across the road.
The truck driver was freed from the wreckage by firefighters before being airlifted to Royal Perth Hospital by the RAC rescue helicopter.
His injuries were serious but not life-threatening.
The crash caused massive delays for motorists with the Mandurah Estuary Bridge closed for several hours.
