WA has recorded its seventh Monday Lotto win for 2022.
The division one winning ticket worth $1 million was sold at Seahaven Newsagency in Waikiki.
Store Owner Patricia Klein said it’s a great feeling to be part of someone’s million-dollar journey.
“$1 million is really life changing,” she said.
“A lot of my regular customers are a bit older and it’s a pretty amazing retirement package.”
The win comes off the back of a strong run of Monday Lotto winners for WA, with one player becoming the owner of a brand-new set of golf clubs and a lawn mower thanks to a Monday Lotto win last month.
“I was dumbfounded when I realised I’d won. I think the newsagent was more excited than me, I was just in complete shock,” the April winner said.
“At the time I was checking my ticket there were some other players in store and when I shared the news with them, they wanted to brush up against me in the hope some of my luck would rub off onto them.”
WA also scored two division two winning tickets in Monday night’s draw worth more than $6000 each, produced from Canning Vale Newsagency and Jurien Bay Newsagency.
