The blaze broke out a short time ago.

Kwinana Freeway has been closed in both directions between Munijong Road and Mortimer Road due to a bushfire burning in the surrounding areas.

Emergency services are on site, people are being told to use extreme caution and seek alternate routes.

An alert level of advice has been issued for people around Kwinana Freeway near Millar Road in northern parts of Baldivis in City of Rockingham.

The fire started near the intersection of Millar Road and Telephone Lane in Baldivis.
