Firefighters have spent the morning working to extinguish a fire at the Balingup Tavern, south of Donnybrook.
The blaze broke out around 4.30am on Blackwood River Drive.
It is understood the fire is now under control.
The fire is being treated as suspicious.
A smoke alert has been issued for the townsite.
