A Secret Harbour jewellery store has been broken into on Monday night.
Around 8.20pm, thieves smashed the front window of Prouds the Jewellers at Secret Harbour Square.
It is understood the thieves grabbed jewellery and fled the scene.
It is unknown how much was taken, but Prouds is expected to conduct stocktake later this morning to assess the damage.
Forensic officers spent an hour gathering evidence from the scene, and it is believed more than one person was involved in the theft.
Security have guarded the store since 9.30 last night and are believed to still be there this morning.
Police are calling on anyone who may have witnessed the incident or with any information to come forward.
