The community has rallied behind the family of 18-year-old Josh Vradis who died in a horrific car accident in Port Kennedy.
Over $22,000 has been raised via a GoFundMe page to help the family cover the cost of his funeral.
The teenager lost his life on Tuesday night after his Holden Commodore slammed into a tree on Warnbro Sound Avenue before bursting into flames.
A member of the public pulled him from the vehicle before it exploded.
Josh was then rushed to hospital but sadly died a short time later.
"Hayley and Chris lost their youngest son, Josh, tragically on the 22nd of August 2023," GoFundMe page organiser Amorie Van Den Heuvel wrote.
"In this sad time, we know that there will be a lot that the family will have to deal with and they will need time together to process what has happened.
"We would like to help relieve some of the financial burden that they might be faced with in the weeks to come and allow the family time together to grieve the emptiness that they will be feeling.
"As parents, it is just so unnatural to have to think about organising a funeral for a child, especially when it is so unexpected.
"Please show Hayley and Chris support with a donation, no matter how big or small, to give Josh the send-off he deserves."
Major crash investigators urge anyone with information relating to the crash, or who saw the silver Holden Commodore sedan travelling in the area prior to the crash, to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or make a report online here.
